Domino’s Pizza is Australia’s favourite pizza maker and is the number one pizza delivery brand in France and The Netherlands. Today, we have more than 780 stores across Australia, New Zealand, France, Belgium and The Netherlands, employ 16,000 team members and make more than 60 million pizzas a year.
The twelve months to 28 June 2009 saw Domino’s Pizza achieve successful results across all levels of the business.
A Net Profit After Tax (NPAT) of $15.4 million, up 29.7% on the previous year, was achieved through strong performances across our ANZ and European markets including the introduction of a new menu in Australia.
During 2008-09 the Company grew its store count across the five countries to 776, having added 35 new stores to the mix with seven in the Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) market and 28 in the European market.
The year finished with 439 stores in Australia, 77 in New Zealand, 166 in France/Belgium and 94 in The Netherlands.
Domino’s will pay shareholders a fully franked final dividend of 8.0 cents per share compared to 6.8 cents per share in Financial Year 2007-08, bringing the total dividend for the Financial Year 2008-09 to 12.4 cents per share compared to 10.9 cents per share last year.
